Scott Brownrigg is delighted to announce the winner of the #instascottbrownrigg photography competition for a week's work experience has been awarded to Matthew Dunne, an architect student from the University of Bath.

Scott Brownrigg launched the competition on Instagram earlier this year to provide an opportunity for architecture and interior design students to use their artistic eye for capturing the built environment, exploring the space a building occupies and the atmosphere it evokes with attention to the materials, texture, movement and detail it carries. The entries were judged on their creativity and originality together with their supporting statement which details why each student feels that their entry should win.

On 12 October Scott Brownrigg held a Private View and Award Ceremony exhibiting a selection of entries and inivited students to attend with the opportunity to network with Scott Brownrigg staff and RIBA representatives. CEO Darren Comber announced the winners and runners up with first place awarded to Matthew Dunne from University of Bath, in second place Chrysanthi Sini from University of Huddersfield and in third place Joel Wallace Erabu from University of Brighton. By the deadline 121 photos had been entered by 53 individual students from 21 Universities UK Wide.
