Three Rivers Academy which replaces the former Rydens Enterprise School has revolutionised the way in which the Academy connects with its pupils, and provides high quality, spacious facilities to inspire 21st Century learning.

The new 20m Harris Invictus Academy for Galliford Try provides a vibrant learning community to serve West Croydon and acts as a catalyst for further urban regeneration within the area. The energy efficient, low carbon school has a capacity for 1,150 pupils and was funded by the ESFA and originated through a partnership between the Harris Federation and Invictus, a grass roots community based organisation. The design reflects the high aspirations of Harris Academies for student motivation and achievement.

Ditton Park Academy is an 11-18 mixed secondary school and Sixth Form and represents one of the UK’s most innovative recent new build schools. The project has exceeded client expectations, utilising the combined expertise of Scott Brownrigg and Galliford Try in the design and delivery of high quality yet standardised Education facilities. The award category recognises innovation that has helped contribute to value in the design of learning spaces.

The winners will be announced at the Education Estates Awards Dinner which takes place on 16 – 17 October 2018 at the Mecure Hotel in Manchester.
