100 Central Park South
SB+C were approached to create an eclectic modern look to this Manhattan apartment. Highlighting the view of central park and maintaining the integrity of the building were key to the scheme.
Located at the south end of Central Park, this property was renovated and converted from an old outdated apartment into an urban, contemporary style.
We removed the lowered dropped ceilings, and created depth to the spaces with different ceiling heights, trays and coffered ceilings.
We not only designed the architectural elements, but specified all interior finishes, colours and furniture for the client, ensuring our overall vision was achieved.
The soft scheme of beige and grey is complemented by hints of rich marble and gold fixtures. LED lighting is consistently used throughout the space to highlight the shelving, cabinets and staircase. The kitchen and bar include state of the art stainless steel appliances and sleek marble finishes to tie in with the ash wood floors.
The focus of the master bedroom is the magnificent view of Central Park, with a side fireplace and high coffered ceilings to accentuate the space. The colour scheme of the children’s bedrooms tie in with the rest of the apartment, and the striking cloud-like fixture creates a dreamy environment.
