Construction is progressing onsite at 1000 Discovery Drive – our design for a five-storey life science development at Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

Delivery has been accelerated through offsite reinforcement bar construction. Once complete, the 6.6 x 9m concrete grid will create the optimum spatial and environmental conditions for laboratory spaces.

Designed for Prologis UK, 1000 Discovery Drive is the second building of their Phase 2 development at Cambridge Biomedical Campus, which once complete will provide 500,000 sq ft of life science development. The scheme collocates clinicians, academics, and research scientists within 100,000 sq ft of much needed multi-occupancy laboratory and office space, stimulating collaboration and innovation within this leading scientific and medical community.

Completion is expected in 2023.
