In 1999 Scott Brownrigg created and launched a dedicated Interior Design service. Embedded within the Practice this provided a specific offer to our clients, rather than a design specialism merely seen as a cursory addition to our recognised architectural service.
It was whilst working with big corporate end-user companies in the 1990’s we recognised the need to develop a specialism outside of simply Cat A work. Providing bespoke interiors catered to the needs of a business, reflective of their personality, brand, ambitions and growth plans.
Over the last 25 years our Workplace Interior Design team has created stunning office environments for some of the world’s largest, high-profile brands. From T-Mobile in the early noughties, to companies such as Google, Arthur J Gallagher, BD Pharmaceuticals, BP and VW. And more recently Reckitt Benckiser, NCR, Expedia, NBC Universal, Chaucer, Thomson Reuters and London Stock Exchange.
With significant growth in global markets, particularly across Europe, the US and the Middle East, and in addressing the new post pandemic world of work, the team continue to push the boundaries of design. Offering a boutique service with an approach driven by a relentless drive to make things better.
Client-centric and data-driven, the team explore new working strategies to pave the way for future generations, augmenting their offering through the creation of a workplace strategy service – Design Strategy Unit.
In celebrating this 25-year milestone, CEO Darren Comber and Head of Workplace Interiors Beatriz Gonzalez discuss the evolution of our interior design service, highlighting some of the key developments and achievements during this time.
