Kursovoy Residential Club House
This design competition was for a new landmark residential club within one of the most exclusive and historic parts of Moscow. The brief called for a high quality, sustainable and flexible building that could meet the high demands of Moscow’s residential market.
Our design response provides a six-storey building with 20 units. Each unit has a clear view to the outside with dual aspect living space. Creating a unique environment where residents experience a sense of place. The building language reflects the flexibility of the internal layout; shifted floor plates create an opportunity for great views to the Moscow River and to the surroundings and also increase potential recreational space on the balconies. The entrance lobby exudes an atmosphere of sophisticated, contemporary luxury. A spa, personal gym, sauna and basement car parking have also been incorporated.
The design is built upon both the attributes of the site and the process of engagement. It considers its location in Moscow, its position close to the main historical landmarks, the adjacent neighbourhoods and the local aspirations to create a premier residential environment.
