The Brief

To create a new Life Science space in the heart of London Snowsfields Quarter, and play a major role in the regeneration of London Bridge and the wider South Bank area. Located next to world class medical and academic research institutions provided by King’s College London and Guy’s Hospital, the scheme is well positioned to capatalise on growing demand from the life science sector.

Concept

Our proposal generates lab-ready science space, affordable laboratory incubator space, CAT ‘A’ office space, conferencing facilities, a dedicated MEP hall supported by street level food and beverage offers and an end of journey facilities centre. The design activates ground level street space with refurbished cafes and bars which open onto improved pavement plaza areas, a new urban square to the city, and a new community centre for the local residence.
