Introducing our newly promoted Associates, Project Directors and Directors.

 

Vivien Leong, Director 

Vivien joined the Singapore studio in 2019. Her experience in winning and leading complex projects in both the public and private sector is proving invaluable in building up the Singapore studio’s growing reputation in transport, a key sector for its future. In 2015, she was named one of Singapore’s 15 Great Engineers and Architects Aged 40 and under by the Singapore Business Review and in 2019 she was the winner in the Design and Style category of Singapore Women’s Weekly Great Women of our Time, recognised for her wealth of experience and skills across a number of sectors. 

Craig Goddard, Director

Over the last decade Craig has demonstrated his versatility, adaptability and business acumen in many ways. Having previously worked for Design Research Unit, Craig joined the Residential team in Guildford. He has developed his strategic thinking to assist with the Forecasting and Bids part of the Operations Board and has forged a niche for himself in strategic resource planning across the practice. He is passionate about nurturing and encouraging talent within and outside of his team, and continuously seeks out how we can do things better.

Annabel Chapman-Smith, Project Director

Annabel has been confidently leading large challenging projects as part of our Residential sector for a number of years. She demonstrates a calm and methodical approach to challenges and ensures those that work with her receive credit where credit is due. Annabel has been a key member of the sustainability team in her role as Sustainability Lead with a particular focus on social value. Her enthusiasm for the subject comes through in all the initiatives she is involved in, from organising our sustainability focus months, charitable work and office improvements amongst other projects.

Felicity Hayward, Project Director

Felicity has been hugely influential in designing and delivering a number of high profile and award winning projects. Her positive attitude, experience and talent ensures she’s had a big impact in shaping the team and studio culture within the practice. A dedicated and proactive leader, she supports and encourages young talent and nurtures her relationships within the studio and wider industry. She is a keen industry speaker, delivering inspirational talks at forums such as the Active London Conference and London Now charity event, as well as webinars such as Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry. 

Olga Mikhaleva, Project Director

Having joined us over a decade ago, Olga helped build our profile internationally, before joining our residential team in London. She embraces the Commercial Lead role, and champions sustainability in Residential design. Olga has a reputation for being incredibly professional in the way she runs and manages her projects, with an attention to detail and diligent approach to ensuring our design aspirations are achieved. A caring leader who involves her team and ensures that everyone feels valued and their voice is heard. 

Stuart Osborne-Cudmore, Project Director

Stuart’s professional, calm and understated approach is noted by all who work with him and is a great example to others. Working as part of the Advanced Technologies team, he manages large and complex projects and takes a lead in managing key clients, with great appreciation for our collective efforts. As a supportive leader who has a great rapport with his colleagues, a Commercial Lead for the sector, and CDM Lead for the wider business, he is a true all-rounder. 

Philip Roy, Associate 

Phil is a versatile architect who is able to confidently lead multiple projects across multiple sectors and deliver to a high standard. Consistently proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and taking practical action to address them, he embraces his lead role in document management, explores new software, and seeks out how we can do what we do, in a smarter way. Phil has also taken on the Commercial Lead role for the Defence, Rail and Aviation sectors.

Lucy Fineberg, Associate 

Lucy is a dynamic collaborator who works with all of our studios to lead, support and add value across different sectors. She is a key member of the Masterplanning and Urbanism team, providing service direction on sustainability, early stage analysis and a fresh approach to proposals. She qualified as an architect in 2021 and is an active member of the Urban Design Group and the Academy of Urbanism.

Stephen Hope, Associate 

Steve’s design and technical knowledge within the Business Space and Life Science sector is exemplary, driving the quality of our design forward. He is known throughout the industry, especially across Cambridge and Oxford, and leads by delivering and guiding, having the skill to translate design into elegant and beautiful solutions. Steve is also our in-house lead on NBS, collaborating with the BIM team, integrating with our digital models, and accessing expert support and training to ensure the practice makes best use of the software.

Barbara Toscani, Associate 

Barbara has worked across different sectors within the practice, particularly Advanced Technologies, Education and Healthcare, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability. She has fantastic graphic skills that have supported bids, competitions and publications, but is also meticulous with her approach to do things well. The passion for good design that she brings to her projects is respected by her colleagues but also loved by our clients. Dedicated to supporting the next generation of designers, she is also a student mentor as part of our Future Talent Programme and is actively involved in our schools outreach.  

Ana Salazar Sala, Associate 

Ana’s high technical competency and confidence make her a key member of the team. She has been working in the Residential sector for a number of years, whilst also mentoring and coaching our work experience students and running workshops for primary schools. She developed a drawing manual and guide to communicate what is required to staff, outsourcing partners and clarify our scope to clients, helping improve the quality of our output.  

Harriet Methven, Communications Manager (Associate)

Since joining Scott Brownrigg as Communications Manager in 2021, Hattie has become a valued member of the team. Her positive attitude, commitment and expertise are exceptional and she has built up effective working relationships across the business. Conscientious and a true ‘Scott Brownrigg advocate’, Hattie is driving the PR function of the business and supports the wider team on digital and social media activities.
